We offer temporary roof covering solutions that include traditional blue tarp and polyethylene shrink wrap. Our traditional blue tarp installations have a 30-day warranty and our polyethylene shrink wraps have a 12-month warranty.
We complete an in-depth inspection/evaluation on your property, gathering all the necessary photos and information that your insurance company and contractor will need. We will install the shrink wrap to fully enclose the entire roof surface and enclose all roof penetrations to ensure a protective barrier around your home. We will then submit our photo report to your insurance company, documenting the damages so that they can approve payment. This will give you peace of mind without having to pay out of pocket.

Why Choose Shrink Wrap?

Did you know that after a loss it is your responsibility as the insured, to protect your property from further damages? The number 1 expense after a hurricane is interior water damage. This means that it is your contractual duty to properly mitigate roof damages as soon as possible. The insurance companies expect you do this! That is why EMS is here. We are here to protect your home from further damages by securing a properly installed tarp on your roof.

We recommend our shrink wrap over the traditional blue tarp, due to its long-lasting properties and durability. It could take 4+ months for repairs to be completed due to adjuster inspections, finding reputable contractors, contactor availability, and material shortages. During these weeks/months of waiting, your roof is being tested by the various weather conditions of the sun, rain, wind, and subsequent storms. A traditional blue tarp is only recommended for 30 days, anything beyond that, and UV radiation from sunlight will make the tarp brittle causing cracks, and the wind can cause the tarp shift and tear open. All these issues are removed by using our polyethylene shrink wrap, which is UV resistant, and 12 mill for added durability.
